Our inquiry pertains to gathering information on the quantity and usage statistics of MRI scanners in Wales.

There are currently 29 MRI machines across Wales. Please see below count by Health Board of MRI machines:

 

• Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (UHB) – 5

• Betsi Cadwaladr UHB – 4

• Cardiff & Vale UHB – 7

• Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB – 4

• Hywel Dda UHB – 4

• Powys Teaching HB – 0

• Swansea Bay UHB – 4

• Velindre NHS Trust -1
